PEARSON posted by Cornelia Warner on Saturday, January 24, 1998

I'm not sure where to find this. My gr. gr. grandfather, John Young PEARSON, of Edinburgh, Portage, Ohio, worked in Washington, DC during the Civil War, on the railroad, I think. There is no pension for him, but I would think there would be an enlistment paper. He was 41 years old in 1863. I know the enlistment paper won't tell me much, but it will help document his life. Thanks
